Al Marmoum Camel Racing Season
The camel racing season is under way, with events running right through to 2014. Races run this week on Wednesday and Thursday.

Dubai Festival City Challenge Tour Grand Final
Dubai hosts the grand final of the European Challenge Tour at Al Badia Golf Course during a four-day event hosted by the Dubai Sports Council, the Emirates Golf Federation and the Arab Golf Federation.

Nad Al Sheba group ride

2XU Triathlon Championships, race one of three

This commando assault course takes place on the slopes of Ski Dubai, with competitors taking on a range of obstacles, including a zorb ball maze, stair run and black run climb.

Spinneys Build Up Ride 3 of 4
This third ride in the series leading up to the Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge is a 60km ride at Al Qudra Cycle Path.

Ashhurst Sprint Aquathon
This event describes itself as an achievable distance for those new to the sport, and a fast and furious race for those at the front.

Ball hockey league

Night rides at Al Qudra
Join Probike’s Monday night rides, which are currently a short but sweet 36km or 45km out-and-back ride along the Al Qudra cycle track, with a pace of between 26-28kmph – though there are two groups, one slow and one fast.

Dubai International Motor Show
This five-day show starts today, with exhibits from some of the world’s most respected car manufacturers and plenty of activities to get involved with, from a Pirelli pit-stop challenge to a distinctive number plate auction. There will also be a parade and thrilling drift race on Friday November 8.
