2014 UIM Sky Dive Dubai XCAT World Series Round 1, Dubai Grand Prix
The most powerful and challenging extreme powerboating series will be making waves at the Dubai International Marine Club. There will be activities for the whole family, making this a fantastic and exhilarating day out.

Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon
If you’re not lacing up your running shoes and taking part in this gruelling yet scenic 26 mile run, then be sure to come out and support some of the finest world-class long-distance runners, and all the gutsy amateurs, tackling this challenge. Spectators should keep an eye out for 66-year-old Stuart Horsewood, who is running his 199th world marathon.

Dubai World Cup Carnival
Combine glamour and sportsmanship at one of the biggest equestrian events on the sporting calendar.

UAE National Race Day
The motor sport season roars into gear this weekend, and this event is a family day out for those that love the sport and those just discovering it. As well great motorsport there will be food, and entertainment.

Adult five-a-side football
Fancy yourself as the next Ronaldo? Get a team together and head down to the DP Soccer stadium for this football tournament.

Get XFit with Fitness First Fitness
First is hosting a beach-side session of X-Fit, a form of exercise that focuses on using your own body weight instead of equipment. The session will use high intensity functional training and a variety of functional movements such as swimming and running on the sand.

Freerunning in the city
Try a activity, and sign up for Freerunning, also known as Parkour. This cool urban sport originated in the streets of Paris and involves vaulting, acrobatics, and running. The classes go through the safety steps, how to use momentum and the advanced class shows you how to do tricks and stunts.

Paddleboard yoga
