The Dubai Tour
This new professional cycling tour wheels into the city today. The race spans fours days and four stages. It starts with the Downtown Stage that takes riders around the Burj Khalifa. In the second stage, cyclists ride out to Nad Al Sheba cycle track. The third stage sees them peddle across Palm Jumeirah and the final stage is a race through the old streets of Dubai. See them get started at the Dubai Tour Start Village, Dubai World Trade Centre Plaza.

Dubai Corporate Sports Tournament
The battle of the CEOs begins in this six-week corporate league. Watch companies compete in events such as athletics, basketball, football, touch rugby and cricket.

Dubai World Cup Carnival
The season of equestrian eventing continues, and visitors can get dressed up and enjoy a night at the races. Some of the world’s finest jockeys and fittest horses will be competing for big money prizes at this event.

Arabian Gulf Football League: Al Shabab v Al Wasl
Support your local team as the The Hawks of Al Shabab take on the Cheetahs of Al Wasl in round 17 of the Arabian Gulf League.

2XU Triathlon Championship
This event offers not only a chance to push yourself physically but you might win a holiday to the French Alps too – a little incentive can go a long way when you’re swimming in a lagoon. The event is open to all ages and abilities, and offers three distances – super sprint (375m swim, 8km cycle, 2.5km run), sprint (750m swim, 24km cycle, 5km run) and Olympic (1.5km swim, 40km cycle, 10km run).

Charity recreational softball tournament
Play sport for a good cause and help to raise awareness of the Dubai Autism Centre. You can sign up on the day to take part and proceeds from the event goes to the charity. Games will include a home run derby, most accurate throw and fastest base-runner. With mixed teams and various abilities, this promises to be a social event as well.

Giant Duathlon
The Giant Bicycles Duathlon Series is aimed at triathletes, duathletes, cyclists, runners and fitness enthusiasts of all ages and abilities. This event is held safely in the Sevens Stadium so eventers don’t have to worry about traffic.

Hat Trick Heroes indoor hockey
Sign up for five-a-side hockey. Have fun, improve your skills and enjoy yourself with fellow teammates in this new league. Duplays will provide standard plastic indoor hockey sticks and goalie equipment if you don’t have your own.
