The Silver Cup leg of this prestigious polo tournament continues this weekend. Watch teams of the best players in the world compete for a place in the final, which will be held on Friday March 14.

Dubai Corporate Sports Tournament
Watch company bosses and employees join forces in this sporting league, pitting their skill against rival companies. Events to catch include athletics, basketball, football, touch rugby and cricket.

Dubai Festival of the Horse
Under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Maryam Bint Mohammed Bin Rashed Al Maktoum, The Festival of the Horse is a family-friendly event for horse fanciers and professionals. The three-day spectacle will see some of the finest horses and trainers from around the world compete in a series of dressage, cross-country and show jumping events.

Dubai World Cup Carnival 2014
Cheer on the finest horses and their jockeys at this entertaining showcase night of international horse racing.

Friday 14

ICC Under 19 Cricket World Cup Tournament
The best young cricket talent will be playing at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in a 16-day competition. This will be the first time the event has been held in Dubai.
Free. 10am. Until March 1. Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai Sports City, (04 425 1111).

Dubai Motorsport Festival
Petrol heads can revel in this day of top gear motor racing. The event will include the NGK Racing Series, UAE Sportbikes, Radical Middle East Cup, Formula Gulf 1000 and Porsche Middle East Cup to boot.
Free. 9am-5pm. Dubai Autodrome, Motor City, (04 436 1494).

Dubai Roadsters Coast to Coast Challenge
Organised by Wolfi’s Bike Shop and the Dubai Roadsters cycling group, this is a 216km group cycle ride from Dubai all the way to the Al Aqah Beach Hotel and Resort located on the north coast of Fujairah. The event is not a race, but a high level of fitness will be required to manage the distance and terrain.
Dhs25 from every registration fee will be donated to UNICEF Road to Awareness Charity. Dhs225. 5am. Ride starts at Nad Al Sheba Cycle Park, near Al Meydan Road, (04 339 4453).

Meydan Race Nights
Horse racing enthusiasts can enjoy a night of emerging equestrian talent. These race nights are designed to promote the rising stars of the region and considered a stepping stone into top flight racing.

Hat Trick
Heroes indoor hockey Sign up for a five-a-side hockey league. Duplays will provide all the standard equipment if you don’t have your own.

Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships 2014
The big names and hitters of the tennis world descend on Dubai this week. The 13-day tournament will see players such as Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer go head-to-head, and in the women’s game Petra Kvitova and Caroline Wozniacki will play for the title.

Eight-a-side cricket league at Duplays
