Revolution Nights
Cycle, jog, rollerblade or walk around the 2.46km circuit at the Dubai Autodrome. Cyclists and roller bladers must wear helmets.

First Dubai International Aquatic Championships
Watch clubs from 26 countries compete in junior water polo, swimming and open water swimming. The event aims to develop open swimming and aquatic sports in the region.

Dubai softball league
Take a shot at American softball with this men’s competitive league. Newcomers are welcome and teams or individuals should register online and also must pay before playing.

The Urban-Ultra Wadi Racer
This multi-distance races takes athletes on a 10km, 20km or 30km race against the sunrise over jeep trails, goat tracks and short, sharp climbs. All runners must carry a 1.5 litre hydration pack, head torch and first-aid kit.

UAE’s strongest athlete
Test your strength by pushing and pulling cars and trucks, flipping tyres and more extreme activities to become UAE’s strongest athlete. The competition is open to men and women aged 15-45.

Court martials badminton
Play indoor badminton in this social pay-per-play league, which is open to all abilities. Register in advance.

Indian Premier League cricket (matches five and six)
Enjoy a day of top flight Indian cricket as Royal Challengers Bangalore go up against the Mumbai Indians in the first match, followed by the Kolkota Knight Riders against the Delhi Daredevils.

Dubai Desert Triathlon
A new triathlon in Dubai which combines endurance horse racing with a 25km cycling and a 5km run.

Bootcamp programme at Fit Lab
The camp claims to burn up to 700 calories per session, and is led by fitness professional, Rob Whelan.

Red carpet workout with Fitness First
