Parasailing in Dubai

High-flying thrills without the fear of falling off the Dubai coastline

Sports & Outdoor, Adventure

For an altitudinal thrill without the stomach-churning drop, parasailing is a great option. You’ll be strapped into a harness and slowly lifted into the air by a parachute dragged behind a speedboat. As you rise ever higher, with the Arabian Gulf beneath you, you’ll have far-reaching views of the shoreline and beyond. Numerous places offer parasailing, but if you try it with Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort those views will include JBR, Dubai Marina and Palm Jumeirah. Less nail-biting and more calming, this is an adventure for the less intrepid of thrill seekers yet still for those after a bit more than just lounging on the beach.

‘The scariest part is being lifted off of the deck, wondering if the rope will hold! Don’t worry, it will and the view once you’re up there is pretty amazing!’
