Extreme Urban Ultra This 140km self-supported stage race will take serious athletes through rocky mountain terrain and over the spectacular sand dunes of the UAE. Runners will carry everything they need for the night including food – water and a sleeping bag – and sleep in tents. If you’re feeling strong and adventurous be sure to sign up.

Table Tennis World Team Cup
Check out some serious ping pong action at this international event with teams from China, Brazil and Germany invited. Hankook 24h Dubai
Motorsports fans can lap up a full 24 hours of endurance racing. This event sees GT, touring and hot hatchback teams drive all day and put their skill and stamina to the test.

World Cup Carnival Races at Meydan
The first in a series of nine events leading up to the Dubai World Cup Carnival.

Fit Republik opens in Dubai Sports City
Check out this brand-new sports and fitness facility offering CrossFit, studio classes, bootcamp, yoga, Zumba, MMA and gymnastics. It also has a swimming facility, and prides itself on employing world-class athletes, including former Olympians and national champions from across the globe.
