The Spartan Race Arabia tour kicks off February 26 at Jebel Ali Racecourse in Dubai and fitness fans will also get to experience the event in Bahrain this April 1.

A record number of people are expected to take part in 2016 and there’s a variety of races for participants to get stuck into.

"The Spartan Race had a fantastic debut in Dubai last year and we are expecting over 5,000 people to take part in the upcoming event," Rayyan Yacob Agha, MENA Managing Director, Spartan Race said. "We are delighted to be working with XDubai to take the World's Biggest Obstacle Race to the next level in the emirate and further afield across the region."

3 races to choose from:
The Spartan Super

Debuting in Dubai this year, the race is designed to test physical strength and mental resolve with more than 20 obstacles on the 13km course.

The Spartan Sprint

This is ideal for beginners wanting to learn the ropes and become a fully-fledged Spartan, with a fun-filled 5km course including over 15 obstacles.

The Spartan Junior
Perfect for kids 4-15 years old who want to challenge their inner Spartan with the 1.8km obstacle course.
