The largest inflatable waterpark in the Middle East is to launch at The Beach opposite JBR.
Shaped like the emirate's iconic logo - a cross between Dubai in English and Arabic - it is loaded with slides, trampolines, obstacles and other challenging elements.
Time Out spoke with German-based developers Wibit who helped deliver the individual bits and pieces. They revealed the eye-catching design was a decision made here in Dubai, and usually they just deliver the individual elements. However, on this occasion, special colour theming was required.
Specific details are thin on the ground, the information having been shared on the Dubai Media Office Twitter with just three similar images. All we know it's got us desperate to cut work early today and head for the beach...
The new inflatable waterpark will be around a whopping 2500m sq, and is an expansion on the Arabian Water Park by Wibit, a 50-m inflatable playground around 100m offshore. The initial installation could hold up to 130 people at any one time and has been attracting people to the resort for more than two years.
Dubai is, of course, no stranger to water-based activities, including being home to two of the top 10 waterparks in the world; Wild Wadi and Aquaventure.
