Tickets for the FIFA Club World Cup, hosted in the UAE this December, are now on sale.
The competition is the pinnacle of club football globally, as each of the champions from the world’s continental club tournaments convene for an eight-match decider to crown the best club team in the world.
Following Saturday’s 4-1 victory over Juventus in the Champions League final, Real Madrid will fly to the UAE to defend their 2016 title, attempting to be the first European team to do so and draw level with Barcelona for the most Club World Cup titles. The Spanish champions will be joined by Mexico’s Pachuca and New Zealand’s Auckland City, plus the winners of the UAE Arabian Gulf League, Al-Jazira.
Meanwhile the winners from other FIFA confederates in Africa, Asia and South America are yet to be decided, and will be confirmed by November.
Matches will take place at the Zayed Sports City Stadium in Abu Dhabi, and the Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain between Wednesday December 6 and Saturday December 16.
Visa card holders can already get access to tickets via the FIFA website, with the exclusive pre-sale ongoing until Sunday June 18 at 1pm GST. General sale will commence at 1pm GST on Monday June 19.
