One off hip-hop karaoke spinning class in town

Wednesday July 12 will see a truly unique exercise-meets-rap battle night...

Well this is unexpected, but by the looks of things, a new phenomenon might have just stumbled its way into Dubai’s DIFC.

On Wednesday July 12, Cadence Theory spin studio is putting on a truly unique spin class, as exercise and hip-hop karaoke come together in what promises to be a heart-pounding 45-minute session.

The premise is fairly simple: live hip-hop, live DJs, live rappers and 25 spin class spaces to be filled. Riders can even join in, to an extent, by winning extra performance requests by pedalling the hardest.

For this one-off event, which will likely be rolled out a bit more regularly given spin’s popularity in Dubai, Virgin Radio’s Sheena Kay will be MCing, with Hip Hop Karaoke Dubai’s 3G KID on the decks.

It’s promising to be a pretty epic event, and to make it even more exciting, places are free. The only catch is that there are only 25 places, so get in touch with Cadence Theory now to book your place, using the e-mail address below. Riders who really want to perform should mention it in their registration e-mail, and all registrations must be in 5pm on Thursday July 6.
Free. Wed July 12, 8pm. Cadence Theory, Skygardens Tower, Unit SHC-3, DIFC, info@cadencetheory.com (04 393 4039).
