Rugby fans in Dubai are in for a treat this week as two of the sport’s stars will be coming to the city.
Famed New Zealand player Zinzan Brooke will be joined by former England centre Jeremy Guscott for a special Rugby Legends Dinner on Thursday June 22.
The evening, held at Emirates Golf Club, will be hosted by British sports presenter Jim Rosenthal.
The players will share anecdotes from their days playing rugby, as well as taking part in a Q&A session with the audience.
They’re also set to share their predictions for the upcoming British & Irish Lions test matches against New Zealand.
Packages start at Dhs120, to include a two-course dinner.
“It's a pleasure to welcome Jeremy and Zinzan, two legends of rugby, to Emirates Golf Club ahead of one of the most eagerly anticipated rugby tours of the year, as the British & Irish Lions take on New Zealand,” said Christopher May, CEO of Dubai Golf.
“Dubai is a growing hub for rugby fans and it will be a great event for anyone with a passion for the sport. We'll be showing every match live at the Club along with a special brunch, so it's the perfect way to enjoy the action.”
The golf club will also be showing all the matches at its “Ultimate Lions Den” location on Saturday June 24, Saturday July 1 and Saturday July 8.
