Have your trainers painted by artists at On Art Run Dubai

A 5k sunset fun run, followed by dinner and a sail around Dubai Marina

Sports & Outdoor

Runners – put your best (and most artfully decorated) foot forward.

This Friday is the On Art Run Dubai, where runners will be able to take a 5k turn around Dubai Marina, before boarding a boat for celebratory dinner and cruise, where they’ll be able to get their trainers painted.

The fun run will take place at sunset and once the hard bit is over with, runners can put their feet up and enjoy dinner and drinks, or alternatively keep their twinkle toes limbered with a spot of deck-top dancing to the musical entertainment on board.

Participants are asked to arrive at Marina Promenade between Pier 7 and the site previously held by Dubai Marina Yacht Club by 5.30pm for a 6pm run start, after which you’ll be pegging it full-speed to the boat cruise and the feast that awaits.

The boat sets sail at 7pm and returns at 9pm and there will be artists on-board available to custom decorate your running shoes.

The cost of the event is Dhs295 and spaces are limited, so make sure you’re quick off the mark when it comes to buying your tickets.

There will also be a lucky draw to win a pair of On Cloud running shoes painted by one of the artists on-board.

The event is the perfect time to enjoy some sport while embracing your artistic side, and with Art Dubai kicking off later this month, there’s never been a better time to get creative with your kicks.

You’ll also get an On Art Run Dubai t-shirt to make sure you really look the part. We’ll see you at the finish line.
Dhs295. Fri Mar 9, 5.50pn-9pm. Dubai Marina, www.premieronline.com.
