Hollywood hero to whip Dubai into shape

He can teach you death defying stunts, regale you with tales from Hollywood film sets and show you how to train like the world’s most notorious secret agent.

But for starters, he can put you through your paces at a new outdoor gym launching on Kite Beach this weekend.

The man in question is Italian movie actor and stuntman Bruno Verdirosi, who masterminded and executed stunts on Quantom of Solace, The Tourist, Equilibrium and John Wick.

Verdirosi is one of the trainers at outdoor workout club Magnum Fitness Beach Dubai, which is launching tomorrow at 10am and open to everyone for a nosey around.

You can even take part in a free Muy Thai class between 11am and 12pm, if you want to go proper secret agent.

The official opening is on Saturday from 5pm where there’ll be a load of healthy refreshment as well as a free Magnum Fitness souvenir.

The outdoor gyms will run until the end of April and will include classes in Muay Thai, Jiu Jitsu, self defense, yoga flexibility and aqua gym.

The regular opening times will be from 6am until 10pm with an on-site gym instructor to give vital advice and demonstrate the correct way to use exercise equipment.

Group classes will take place two times per day during the weekdays, on sunset and sunrise, with four group classes during the weekends.
