Go rock-climbing and bungee jumping at Dubai’s Burj Park

Active 7 will also have talks from professional basketball players

Seeking a little adventure this weekend? Burj Park in Downtown Dubai will be hosting a range of sporty activities over the next two days including rock-climbing and bungee jumping.

Throughout the weekend, from Friday March 30 to Saturday 31, pull on those shin guards for a match of football or powder those hands for some rock-climbing.

There will also be volleyball and basketball, a full-on skatepark and even bungee jumping for those who like falling.

Aside from sports, expect talks from professional basketball players Sani Sakakini of the FIBA Asia Championship and Rubi Habbash of Jordan's Al Fuheis Blues who will speak about their journeys to athletic stardom.

Parkour expert Joshua Ray Rosas will be giving live demos, and so will Slovakian fitness pro Raddy Herich.

If that isn’t enough, there will also be live entertainment from award-winning DJ S.O.N.Y.A to get you pumping while you explore a selection of food outlets and discounts.

Active 7, presented by Lacnor, aims to educate families and children on the importance of exercise, and how much fun it can be.

It’s also a great excuse to get a little workout in for the weekend.

Get that activewear on, it’s time to get in shape the fun way.

Of course, if you’re feeling something a little fancier, head to the Dubai World Cup 2018 and put on your sharpest outfit instead.
