Last week XDubai sent us a teaser trailer for what appeared to be night-time runs of its XLine zip wire through Dubai Marina.

We now know that the sneak peek vid (watch it here) was a primer for after-sunset zip line runs coming to town, and they’ll be taking off on Wednesday May 23, as a special limited-edition opportunity only available during Ramadan, and you don’t want to miss it.

The #DaretoDonate campaign will see zip line adventurers take off from the Amwaj Towers in JBR under the night sky, heading towards Dubai Marina Mall at speeds reaching 60kph across the 1km line. Donations will be in support of the Al Jalila Foundation, and 100 percent of the proceeds will be making their way to the charity.

“XDubai is grateful for the support of both the community and the leadership of the UAE for their continued support of our activities and initiatives. We wanted to express this gratitude in a way that will have a lasting and meaningful effect on the community,” said Mohammed Javad, General Manager of XDubai. “Every day we bring joy and laughter to those who visit our parks or experience the XLine. Now, by offering a new special night-time experience on the XLine during Ramadan, we are transforming the joyful moments we are known for into actual donations which in turn, will support the Al Jalila Foundation in their important work.”

There is a very limited number of runs happening, since runs will be limited to Wednesdays only, specifically Wednesday May 23, May 30, June 6 and June 13 between 8pm and 9.30pm.

At Dhs850 per person, you’ll be directly donating the money straight to Al Jalila Foundation. Daytime runs are still available daily throughout Ramadan from 10am-3pm, Monday to Saturday, priced at Dhs650 per person or Dhs1200 per couple, with rides also including a personalised edited video.
So do some good and take on this brilliant attraction while raising money for charity.
