City Centre Mirdif to hold EA Sports FIFA 18 Challenge

Gamers will battle it out to win a grand prize of Dhs50,000

With the World Cup wrapping up with the big final next week, there’s another major football event happening right in City Centre Mirdiff.

On Saturday July 14, the mall will be preparing for the EA Sports FIFA 18 Challenge, where UAE gamers will prove their skills on a virtual football field.

Finalists will battle it out, playing for the massive grand prize of Dhs50,000, so expect tensions to be pretty high.

They will also get the chance to play against the UAE’s top gaming influencers, and even win a bonus prize. If they’re good enough to beat them, of course.

Think you have what it takes? There’s still time to participate, as Friday July 13 will give gamers one last chance to qualify to the finals on Saturday.

To join, competitors need to spend a minimum of Dhs300 in the mall get a Token that will grant you one chance to enter the qualification round.

If you win, you’ll be asked to come back at 8pm that day to play against other players. Be prepared to test you mettle.

Victorious? Not only are you up for the chance to win the grand prize in the finals, but you’ll also get a Dhs1,000 gift card to be spent at the mall.

The competition started on Saturday June 23, with players competing at either Mall of the Emirates or City Centre Mirdif.

If you’re looking for some exciting (simulated) footy action and some of the best gamers in UAE, you won’t want to miss this.
