Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club to host an open day at its riding school

Pony-loving children in Dubai can sign up to Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club’s riding school open day absolutely free.

The equestrian-focused evening next week (Friday September 20) allows little riders to have a comprehensive assessment in order to establish their level should they wish to have lessons at the stables.

In addition, a 15-minute stable tour means children will be able to get up close and personal with the equine inhabitants – a polo mint or two might not go amiss – while the qualified instructors will be showing off their horse riding prowess to inspire young riders.

An on-site booth manned by the British Equestrian Federation-affiliated Pony Club allows wannabe members to get find out more about looking after and caring for a horse and to get a feel for what is required to earn their official badges from the organisation.

The less serious enthusiasts can enjoy free pony rides to get a feel for the sport as well as burn off some energy at the special kids' jumping area.
Free. Fri Sep 20, 5pm-7pm. Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club, Dubailand, www.alhabtoorpoloresortandclub.com
