Living in The Springs? You won’t have to travel far anymore for a night at the movies, as Reel Cinemas has just opened up a new branch, and there’s even a dedicated cinema just for the little ones.

Located in The Springs Souk, the six-screen cineplex includes its first Reel Junior – a screen that’s for kids and families to watch the latest blockbusters for the little ones.

The dedicated theatre will be kitted out with “cool and quirky beanbag seats specially designed for children”, along with standard seats for parents.

Kiddos can also enjoy The Spring Souk branch’s special kiddie combo, that includes an array of staple cinema snacks along with healthy options.

Reel Junior will also host birthday parties and other special events for kids with its themed party room, which can hold up to 40 partygoers and even has access to the junior cinema for young film fans.

The other five screens will be able to seat more than 200 cinemagoers, which means it’s unlikely you’ll miss a flick even if it’s crowded.

There are plenty of family-friendly blockbusters out right now, including the lovable Christopher Robin starring our favourite Pooh Bear, the hilarious Hotel Transylvania 3, the action-packed Incredibles 2 along with the recently released Alpha.

Already know what you’re going to watch? Head over to and nab yourself a seat.

And it's exciting times for cinemagoers. Reel Cinemas has also launched the UAE’s very first ScreenX – a 270-degree cinema experience at The Dubai Mall that uses the world’s first multi-projection system. In other words, it’s pretty immersive.

See you at the movies.
Open daily 10am-10pm. Movie times vary, The Springs Souk, Emirates Living, (800 36227).
