What better way to party it up Halloween-style than heading over to a waterpark at night? Aquaventure After Dark is having a “spooktacular” special edition. Thrill-seekers can expect massive water slides to really make you scream, along with pumping tunes from the UAE's leading DJs, laser and fire shows and the chance to wade through the specially set up haunted towers. Boston Bar Halloween Birthday Bash
Boston Bar at Jumeira Rotana is celebrating its birthday in spooky style this year. Taking place on Thursday November 1 from 6pm onwards, the watering hole is having its “21st Spooky Birthday”, dishing out Dhs21 on all selected beverages and bar bites. This Scottish pub (the only other branch outside its Speyside home), is gearing up for three nights of Halloween fun. Starting on Wednesday October 31, head to a pub that will be transformed into the Addams Family Mansion – where ladies will get unlimited grape and drinks from 8pm until 2am, for absolutely nothing. With five different Halloween celebration over three days, it’s clear garden on 8 love the scariest occasion of the year, and we’re happy they are. For Dhs395 for each brunch, the popular spot will be starting off with its Scary Day Brunch on Friday November 2 from 12.30pm until 4pm, which leads right on to its Spook & Mirrors Night Brunch from 7.30pm until 11pm. It’s going to be a real fright night at Gotha Club this Halloween, where the Gotham City-themed party is carrying on well into the early hours both days. Looking to experience Halloween through food? The chic lobby lounge Kambaa at Address Dubai Marina has some frightful (but delicious) Halloween-themed treats and snacks for you to try. Halloween Horror Fest at Reel Cinemas Rove Downtown
We’ve had quite a few freaky horror movies come out in 2018, and if you haven’t had the chance to catch them all, not to worry. The Halloween Horror Fest at Reel Cinemas Rove Downtown is bringing all the horror hits of this year every day until Wednesday October 31. For Dhs45, horror fans will get to see everything from Jigsaw to Halloween. The cinema will be kitted out with special Halloween-themed food and decorations just for the occasion. If you’re more of a fan of all things skeletons and colourful skulls, LIMA Dubai has the party just for you. The Peruvian restaurant and bar is throwing a Dia Los Muertos party on Wednesday October 31. From 8pm until midnight, its lounge area will be decked out with wicked decorations just for the occasion, along with a live Latin American band to kick off the fiesta. Don’t want to wait another year for to dress up if your scariest get-up? You can still hang on to that Halloween vibe at the Oasis Pool Bar in the Millennium Airport Hotel Dubai on Friday November 9, as the venue will be hosting a post-Halloween pool party. The pool will be decked out with ghoulish decorations, water slides for the little ones, rain showers and live cooking stations, along with entertainment from the resident band and DJ. Perry & Blackwelder’s
If anyone knows how to do Halloween properly, it’s the Americans, and Perry & Blackwelder’s is channelling the Yankee spirit this October 31. Both the staff and venue will be kitted out in spooktacular costumes and decorations, and there’ll be a special menu of creepy mixed drinks and desserts on offer, including the Witch’s Cauldron – a green and white blended chocolate fondue (which we imagine will have a terrifying calorie content). What better way to spend Halloween than aboard a ghost ship? The “terror” kicks off with the Fang-tastic Family Feast on Friday November 2, which is a spooky version of the QE2 Friday brunch featuring jelly spiders, smoking dishes and pumpkin carvings in the hotel’s Lido Restaurant.
