Gulf Photo Plus is running a series of photo walks through one of Dubai’s oldest and culturally rich neighbourhoods, exploring the area’s most loved locations, as well as a few hidden gems.
The three-hour stroll will include a special tandoori chai stop, lessons of local history and a gander off the beaten track to get a glimpse into different ways of life in the city.
And you don’t have to be a photography expert, either. Although participants will have to bring their own camera, the tour is open to all levels, and phone cameras are just as welcome as all the high tech gear.
The evening will finish with a (chargeable) dinner at a local restaurant where you’ll be able to flick through your shots with your guide and get feedback on your images, as well as showing off your photography prowess to the group.
Wannabe snappers are advised to dress conservatively, and you’ll do well to throw on your comfiest trainers as the whole tour will be done on foot.
Go on then, give us your best smile.
