Three 24-hour activities to try in Dubai

Sometimes you just can’t sleep. So what do you do? Take an abra trip, of course. Here are three activities that run all through the day and night.

Relax at Soft Touch Spa
A bout of insomnia can take its toll on the body. But, you can banish eye-bags, blemishes and busy minds by taking a trip to the 24-hour spa inside Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates. Soft Touch Spa dishes up doses of relaxation, renewal and refreshment all day. Expert staff can help soothe with a range of different treatments (though they’re not available 24 hours), but if you just want to lounge around at 3am, you know where to go.

Take an abra ride
Fancy a moonlit trip across the Creek? Whether you have visitors in town or just want to explore the city by night, you can hop on one of these boats for just Dhs1 whatever hour you like. While heritage abra rides stop at midnight, the trip between Sakbha abra station, which is near Baniyas Square, and Dubai Old Souk abra station runs all day and all night.

Work out at Gymnation
A workout is challenging enough without having to do it in the proximity of sweating strangers. So, for those who prefer to sculpt with no one else around, Gymnation’s 24-hour sites are for you. The enormous Bur Dubai and Al Quoz branches are open round-the-clock. They’re not the city’s only 24-hour gyms, of course, but the pocket-friendly membership price, hundreds of pieces of equipment, free parking, separate ladies-only gym and studio and hundreds of free monthly classes make it a hit with us.
From Dhs199 (per month). Open 24 hours. Locations in Al Quoz and Bur Dubai,
