Make a splash at a waterpark
Aquaventure Waterpark Dubai

There is no trouble finding water in the UAE. In fact there’s water-based fun to be had in every emirate.

You can discover an incredible aquatic world at Aquaventure Waterpark Dubai, based at Atlantis The Palm (pictured right, middle), which is overflowing with fun. Experience a series of adrenaline-pumping rides such as Poseidon’s Revenge, which sees hardy thrillseekers propelled through the heart of The Tower of Poseidon at 60km per hour.

If you want to double up on your Dubai fun, dip your toe in the water at the Arabian-themed Wild Wadi Waterpark (pictured, top), which is home to more than 30 rides and attractions.

A newer addition is the Laguna park at  the sprawling La Mer area in Jumeirah.

Abu Dhabi isn’t left high and dry, either, as Yas Waterworld one of the top tourist attractions on Yas Island. The popular destination boasts 45 rides for all ages, regular ladies’ night offers and even introduced a Neon Nights evening event giving you a chance to visit once the sun goes down.
