Alicia Keys set to talk and perform in Dubai next month

She’s a 15-time Grammy Award winner and earlier this year headlined the closing night of Dubai Jazz Festival, and Alicia Keys has been confirmed to return to the emirate for a one-off appearance next month.

The singer, musician, songwriter and activist will be appearing at the Tony Robbins Achieve the Unimaginable event at the Coca-Cola Arena on Tuesday September 3.

She’ll be taking part in the ten-hour event to “help inspire, empower and motivate people to be their authentic selves” according to the event’s promoter Najahi Events.

Having sold more than 40 million records, Keys is also an author with a part-autobiography on the way, as well as a theatre, TV and film producer. After her talk, she’ll also deliver what’s being promised as a “special musical performance” for those in attendance, so if you just couldn’t get enough of her performance at Dubai Jazz Fest, now is your chance to see her in action again. We’re hoping to hear tracks like Girl on Fire, Fallin’, A Women’s Worth and Empire State of Mind.

The event will bring together a range of motivational speakers across the day, headlined by the international “business and life strategist” Tony Robbins, who’s worked with the likes of Oprah, Hugh Jackman, Kanye West and more.

Tickets to the full event, including the Alicia Keys appearance, start from Dhs1,499, and are available from www.800tickets.com.
