Emirates Golf Club to host a Rugby World Cup braai

Calling all rugby fans – Saffer ones in particular. On Friday October 4, South Africa will be taking on Italy in their third match of the Rugby World Cup group stages and in celebration (and anticipation of a big win) Emirates Golf Club is laying on a day of rugby, braai and brews.

Bring your own marinated meats, braai packs or, for those less prepared, you can also purchase meats at the golf club and get ready to get grilling.

The game kicks off at 1.45pm (UAE time) but the fun doesn’t end after the game.

South African singer and songwriter Byron Minnie will take to the stage as well as Ivan Roux who was a runner-up on Die Kontrak (which translates to The Contract) – a popular South African reality TV singing competition.

There’s also going to be a special appearance from 2019’s Miss Intercontinental South Africa, Dane Venter.
