Tough Mudder UAE to be main event for Dubai Fitness Challenge 2019

Expect new courses including the ‘Black Widow’ and ‘Leap of Faith’

Tough Mudder UAE to be main event for Dubai Fitness Challenge 2019

Tough Mudder, one of the UAE’s most popular (and muckiest) courses, is partnering with Dubai Fitness Challenge to be the main event of the challenge’s final weekend.

Taking place at Dubai Festival City on Friday November 15, the world-renowned obstacle course will be the last effort to finish off Dubai’s annual fitness challenge during the final week of the 30 days.

This year, Tough Mudder UAE brings in over 25 obstacles both new and old, including the ‘Black Widow’, a series of 30inch long elevated tightropes suspended over water, and the ‘Leap of Faith’, which pits you against a water-filled gap.

For the experienced, expect the ‘Pyramid Scheme’, ‘Mud Mile’ and ‘Everest 2.0’ to make a welcome return to the Dubai Festival City course.

“Dubai Fitness Challenge has become a renowned event in Dubai’s calendar,” said director of residential and commercial property at Dubai Festival City Samer Zabian.

“This year, in addition to the entire destination being active for 30 days, visitors and residents can also participate and test their teamwork at the biggest Tough Mudder celebration, in association with Sabco Sports and Tough Mudder Inc, as part of the closing weekend of the 30 x 30 Fitness Challenge.”

There’s even a ‘Mini Mudder’, a 1.6km course route for five to 13-year-olds. Head to to book those tickets and for more information.

Better get signed up soon though, as there’s a limited-time discount of Dhs75 for adult tickets if booked before Monday September 30.

If you’re looking to get fit for the big obstacle course, Towers Rotana is launching big deals on gym membership just for the challenge.
