A new app has launched in Dubai

Get free event tickets, dinners and more

How does gaining free access to events and offers sound to you?

Surkus, a new ‘experiential marketing’ app has launched in the UAE, and not only is it giving members a load of free perks, it’s also simple to use and free to download. Winning.

The app is available on both iOS and Android and its Middle East launch follows an international roll-out across other markets such as the US and Hong Kong.

So what’s the catch and what do we need to do to use the app and get all the benefits on offer?

It’s essentially all the stuff we all already do – checking in online at the venues, sharing posts on Instagram and reviewing the experiences and offers on Google.

Current offers and events include stand-up paddle board lessons, kayak tours, boat cruises, a dinner for two, a desert safari and tickets to Phantom of the Opera at Dubai Opera.

“We want to bring performance-based marketing, dynamic pricing and advertising transparency to every SME and business here in the region, providing a clear and efficient way to reach a hyper-engaged and relevant audience. And to give our members the chance to experience more locally and globally,” said Stephen George, CEO of Surkus.

Since launching in 2015, the global platform is already being used across cities across the USA such as New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Miami and Chicago as well as Hong Kong and it’s already amassed a whopping 750,000 users across the globe.
