Diwali 2019 in Dubai: how to get free Rangoli cookies

Thousands around Dubai are getting ready to celebrate Diwali, the Festival of Lights, and if you’re after something to mark the occasion, some free cookies are closer than you'd think.

Food delivery app Deliveroo has partnered up with Dubai’s homegrown bakery, Looshi’s, to offer Rangoli-inspired cookies completely for free with every delivery. Bring on the colourful bites.

On Sunday October 27, every order from the Deliveroo Editions kitchen, including restaurants and cafés in JLT, Hessa Street and Business Bay, will come with a complimentary cookie.

The limited edition cookies have been made in two flavours by Looshi’s and Deliveroo, including cardamom and nutmeg, as well as cinnamon and cumin.

Rangoli is an art form commonly created during the Festival of Lights, using coloured sand and rice, dry flour and flower petals to make different patterns. Expect the very same for those free cookies.

The offer is only available during Diwali, so you may as well get ordering by visiting www.deliveroo.ae or by using the app.

If you're after more festivals to celebrate throughout October and beyond, we've got you covered right here.

Go on, celebrate with a colourful cookie.
Free (with delivery). Sun Oct 27. Deliveries from JLT, Hessa Street and Business Bay, www.deliveroo.ae.
