It’s been gone a little while, but one of the coolest days out in the winter is back for its first event of the season, and it’s getting us hungry.

For the first time this year, Truckers UAE (formerly Truckers DXB) will be hosting the Food Truck Jam, a day-long event taking place on Saturday October 26 at Emirates Golf Club.

Teeing off (see what we did there?) at 3pm, the day will really lean into the food truck vibe, with loads of different types of food on offer, so you can chow down on some cracking grub, and it won’t cost you a dirham to attend. It’s entirely free to enter through until the doors close again at 11pm and there’s loads going on besides food trucks.

For golfers there are free golf lessons on offer throughout the day, while there’s also going to be live music, bands and more to give it a real festival vibe all day.

If you’re looking to head along (why would you not?), you’ll find it just a minute’s walk from Nakheel Metro, and the organisers recommend bringing cash with you to avoid that pesky search for an ATM when you need it most.

So grab a bean bag, grab a drink, a bite to eat and kick back with some gloriously wintery vibes.

You had us at “food”.
Free. Sat Oct 26, 3pm-11pm. Emirates Golf Club, Emirates Hills,
