World-renowned gong master coming to Dubai

Gong master, Jens Zygar, is one of the world’s leading personalities when it comes to gong playing, teaching and performing, and he’s heading to Dubai for a series of one-off workshops at Jumeirah coffee shop Life'n One.

With more than 30 years of experience, Zygar now hosts seminars across the globe about how we can reconnect and heal ourselves – and others – through the science of order frequencies of nature in various instruments.

He co-founded Star Sounds Orchestra, an acoustic-electronic cosmic band that has been playing at festivals around the world for the past 25 years and also performs as a solo gong artist, and throughout the years has developed many unique skills playing and performing gongs.

From Wednesday October 30 until Friday November 1, he will be hosting meditation classes using a variety of gongs and sound gadgets giving guests the chance to experience a full sound bath. Each session is from 7.30pm until 9pm and it’s Dhs150 for those who pre-book and Dhs180 for walk-ins.

Zygar will also be holding two full-day workshops. The first of which is on Friday November 1 and will focus on sound therapy with tuning forks. The workshop aims to bring awareness to the thought that sound itself can heal and the day will include loads of practice and a basic introduction of the Cosmic Octave, the science of the order frequencies of nature.

The second 'back to health' workshop on Saturday November 2 is all about healing your body through pharma-nutrition. Get ready to learn about how to eliminate inflammation, prevent and reduce the chance of diseases and how to lead a well-balanced and healthy life.

Both the full-day workshops are from 10am to 6pm and costs Dhs900 if you book in advance or Dhs1,100 for walk-ins.
