It’s time to wake up and smell the flowers once again, literally. The world’s largest natural flower garden is making its grand re-opening in Dubai this weekend (Friday November 1).
Dubai Miracle Garden returns for its highly-anticipated eighth edition on Friday November 1, and it’s looking to break yet another Guinness World Record this year.
Details for the attempt are currently under wraps, but stay tuned as here.
As for what’s new, a brand-new feature will include an "aerial floating lady", fittingly dressed in an array of flowers.
The newly-revamped amphitheatre will have an observatory that will host shows and live entertainment, while visitors will be able to use it to see panoramic views of the garden.
The eighth edition also brings a 400-metre walking track that will be used for daily activities, with costume and floral parades, street performers, Zumba sessions, and for leisurely walks to admire the colours, no less.
That’s not all, as other surprises, including new themes and experiences, await those who visit the multiple world-record breaking park this weekend.
Dubai Miracle Garden has broken two world records – for the largest vertical garden in 2013 and world’s largest floral sculpture forming the shape of an Airbus A380 in 2016.
The 150 million flower spectacle boasts floral displays that include a castle and an 18 metre-high Mickey Mouse structure.
