Wavehouse Dubai to host huge two-day festival this weekend

Ready to ride the waves and catch some tunes in Dubai this weekend?

Bowling alley, arcade, surf spot and bar Wavehouse at Atlantis The Palm’s is hosting a huge Wavefest this weekend, and it’s best to bring your swimmers, at its outdoor wave machine will be completely free to use.

Taking place from Thursday November 14 until Friday November 15, the brand-new two-day festival will kick off at 7.30pm on Thursday with a live gig from UAE-based band Gorgeous George – playing a mixed bag of rock, pop, and top 40 classics.

They’ll be followed by Dubai favourites, The Boxtones, rocking out until late.

Done on the dancefloor? If you’re willing to catch some Gnarly (generated) waves, head over to the bar and restaurant’s wave machine and get free Surf’s Up sessions from 6pm onwards.
That’s not all, as festival-goers feeling a tad peckish can get in on the barbecue deal on the outdoor terrace, priced at Dhs100 per person. Those looking for the Wavehouse’s signature pizzas and other dishes, not to worry, as an à la carte menu will also be available.

Families with little ones can expect plenty of activities for them to get in the party mood, including face painting stalls and much more.

As for Friday November 15, the festival will be kicking off from 5.30pm onwards, with the wave machine being available from 6pm.
