Dubai Watch Week 2019 kicks off this week

What time is it? Time to check out the celebration of horology at Dubai’s fourth edition of Dubai Watch Week.

Gate Village in DIFC is this week hosting Dubai's annual event all about watches, and 2019's edition is celebrating two of the industry’s biggest progress drivs – innovation and technology.

Dubai Watch Week kicks off tomorrow (Wednesday November 20) and runs until Sunday November 25. The event showcases some of the biggest watch brands in the world, including the latest from Breitling, IWC, Hublot and Chopard – which will be showing off its brand-new sports watch, the Alpine Eagle.

For this first time, the event will host ‘The Rolex Experience’, taking visitors through the ‘universe of the Oyster Perpetual Submariner’, which made its debut in 1954, through panels and interactive displays.

Think you have the technological skill to craft an intricate watch? Throughout the event, professional of the industry will be hosting watchmaking masterclasses.

That’s not all, as the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Geneve Exhibition (GPHG) will be giving visitors a look at award-winning watch models on the last day (Sunday November 24).

There will also be a horological forum, which includes big names such as Jean-Claude Biver and Max Busser, talking about the latest innovations in the world of watches, and beyond.

Each day will be jam-packed with events from 10am until 10pm. To attend the event completely for free, you can get yourself registered by visiting
