OneRepublic to play at Dubai Airshow gala dinner

Popular US band OneRepublic will be performing live in Dubai this week, as part of Dubai Airshow.

The biggest aerospace event in the Middle East will see 165 aircrafts on display from Emirates, Air Arabia and is taking place until Thursday (November 21).

And the band will be playing at Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena tomorrow night (Wednesday November 20) for the Airshow’s gala dinner.

The event is invitation only, but if you’re a OneRepublic fan then make sure to book your tickets to see them at Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival 2020.

The pop-rock group OneRepublic will be final headliner of next year’s festival on Friday February 28. They join Lionel Richie and Ms Lauryn Hill as the main acts of the event at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre.

The American band are known for absolutely titanic hit Apologize, originally released in 2006, but remixed by Timbaland to gain the band even more recognition in 2007 and send them to the top of singles charts around the world.

The band headlined the Dubai Jazz Festival back in 2013, so they’re back this week for their first appearance in Dubai in seven years.

The Dubai Airshow kicked off on Sunday (November 17), and it boasts spectacular air displays, free talks from the UAE Space Agency including a ‘Women in Space’ and tech talk, along with 165 of the latest aircrafts to check out.

Taking place at the purpose built Dubai Airshow venue at DWC, visitors can expect the event’s famed flying display from 2pm until 5pm each day. It runs until Thursday (November 21) so there’s still time to catch it.
