UAE National Day 2019: Dubai Festival City Mall predicts biggest celebration yet

All the brilliant celebrations for the 48th UAE National Day are kicking off this weekend, and Dubai Festival City Mall is looking to go all out.

From an all-new IMAGINE show made especially for UAE National Day to two brilliant firework displays, there’s a whole list of entertainment for the whole family to enjoy.

Kicking off on Thursday November 26, the mall will feature a UAE National Day experience called “Faces of the Nation”, where shoppers can snap pictures of themselves at a special photo booth.

Taken a pic? You'll be in with the chance to feature in the special IMAGINE National Day show, all to pay homage to the Year of Tolerance.

The two-time world record breaking IMAGINE show will take place on Monday December 2 at 8pm and 10pm, along with a spectacular fireworks display lighting up the sky at Festival Bay.

Be sure to get down early, as from 3pm on Friday 29 and Sunday December 1 until Tuesday there will be a live band performing throughout the day.

That’s not all, as the mall’s Robinsons Department Store is also offering little ones some exciting kids' events and activities including face painting, colouring and crafts workshop, along with nail and henna artists.

“Once again Dubai Festival City will be the destination to celebrate one of the biggest fireworks displays in Dubai, we continue to create shows that are bigger and better each year to attract more visitors to our world-class destination,” director of malls at Al-Futtaim Steven Cleaver.

That’s not the only iconic spot in Dubai that’s hosting special celebrations. Click here to find out more.
