Dubai’s huge Kite Festival returns to Dubai Creek Park

Dubai’s Kite Festival is making a grand return for a second year, taking place at Creek Park with a list of workshops, plenty of live entertainment and of course, colourful kites soaring through the sky.

Running from Friday January 10 from 10am until 8pm, the family-friendly event invites all those with kites of all kinds fly their creations through the skies, and it’s completely free to attend.

That’s not all, as attendees can also take part in various kite workshops taking place throughout the day, while little ones can enjoy plenty of kids' activities and games.

There will also be a list of live entertainment, including a DJ spinning the decks, a traditional Dhol player, Indian dance displays and even kite competitions. Who knows, you may have the best-looking kite in town.

Looking for more outdoor activities and things to do in Dubai to soak up all the cool weather? Here’s a list of the best outdoor activities to enjoy in Dubai and beyond.

As the movie Mary Poppins simply put it, let’s go fly a kite!
Free. Fri Jan 10, 10am-8pm. Gate 1, Dubai Creek Park.
