Rangers FC has confirmed an international-friendly with Uzbekistani Super League champions, Lokomotiv Tashkent, in Dubai.

But, before the big game on Saturday January 11, there’s a very special brunch all footie fans will want to get it on.

Now’s your chance to brunch with Rangers FC, including Steven Gerrard, Gary McAllister and a selection of Ranger’s first team stars, in a one-off special brunch at V Hotel Dubai. Brunch with the stars? Count is in.

Taking place on Friday January 10 from 1.30pm until 4pm, fans will get to hear from and ask questions to the Rangers first team as they share their thoughts on the football season so far.

The brunch will include premium house beverages and unlimited food from Dhs495 and with soft drinks for Dhs300, and there’s even a VVIP package lets fans sit at the Club table with the Rangers FC Management and first team attendees.

As for the international friendly between the two teams, the match will be played at the Sevens Stadium on Friday January 10 with kick off at 3pm.

The match will be the Club’s first encounter with Lokomotiv Tashkent who, in addition to being three times consecutive domestic champions and holders of the Uzbekistan Super Cup, are regular participants in the AFC Champions League.

“The match will be an important part of our preparations for the second half of the season and we expect it to be a competitive friendly and good test for our squad,” said Rangers manager Steven Gerrard.

“It is a huge honour to lead our team to play a club with such great success and history as Rangers Football Club and it’s an exciting moment for our supporters and the Uzbekistan football community,” said head coach of Lokomotiv Tashkent Andrey Federov.

“As we finalise our 2020 pre-season preparations, there is fierce competition for places in my starting eleven and this match will allow the players to make a real statement of their intent.”
