The hotel is setting up to celebrate all things Scottish at its annual Burns Night supper, with a three-course set menu filled with traditional grub (yes, that means haggis) and a live performance all the way from Glasgow.
Kicking off on Friday January 24 from 7.30pm until 1am, Hilton JBR’s Wavebreaker venue will honour the life of the Scottish national bard Robert Burns with a black tie event. And national dress of course, so bring out those kilts.
As for what’s on the menu, executive chef Steven Smalley will be whipping up haggis and pea cannelloni to start with, followed by braised beef short-rib and lemon posset to finish off.
Got your fill? Prepare to dance to Ceilidh band Bahookie, a four-piece Celtic rock band all the way from Glasgow returning to the grand event for the third year in a row.
Ready to celebrate Burns’ life and works with songs, dance and hearty feast? The event is priced at Dhs495 per person.
