Chinese New Year 2020: Habtoor Palace Dubai launches fun-filled Asian Village

All the celebrations for China’s Spring Festival are kicking off this weekend, and if you’re after an all-round (literal) taste of China, Habtoor Palace is the place to be.

Step into Chinatown right here in Dubai with Habtoor Palace’s fun-filled Asian Village this weekend, featuring food stalls, arts and crafts, along with plenty of top performances.

Taking place today (Thursday January 23) until Saturday January 25, the two-day event will be celebrating all things CNY with market stalls and street food stations including Chinese classics such as satay barbecue, spring rolls and dumplings.

That’s not all, as there will also be an Asian-themed drinks station with Asian hops along with an intriguing ‘Lychee Lounge’. Yes, please.

Little ones can get involved in the Chinese arts and crafts section and check out the daily Chinese Lion dance performance.

As for exciting performances families can look forward to, expect an Asian music ensemble, a cosplay contest and ballet performance throughout the event.

The Asian Village will kick off each day from 5pm until 10pm, and it’s completely free to enter.
