Huge jazz night returns to Dubai in a brand-new, permanent venue

One of Dubai’s longest-running jazz nights is back, in a brand-new permanent venue that’s going to be bringing out some smooth jazz, soul and R&B every single night of the week.

The Jazz Garden has been a mainstay on the Dubai music scene for years, and after a small break, is returning this month for regular live performances from some of the top names in the jazz industry.

Top of the bill this month is Denise King, a US-born singer with a big voice and a jazzy, R&B and blues style that has been inspired by some classic singers – Nancy Wilson, Marlena Shaw and Sarah Vaughan among others.

The location itself is no longer a pop-up music venue, and has been transformed into a permanent “open-door” venue that is going to be open every weekend.

Every week you’ll find live jazz, blues, soul and funk artists from all over the world playing some top-quality live music.

Not only that, but there’s going to be a wide range of food and drink outlets available for you to try every weekend, too.

The venue will be permanently housed at Habtoor Grand Resort – Autograph Collection in JBR.

Entry to Denise King live is free, with a minimum spend on F&B of Dhs150 applicable. You can, however, book your place by heading to www.800tickets.com now.

The following weeks see more acts hitting the stage, including Roy Young and Veronique Herman-Sambin in town on February 6-7 and 13-14, respectively.
