Dubai International Boat Show 2020 finds new home at Dubai Harbour

It’s that time of year again when the biggest marine event in Dubai makes a humble return, and we’re getting a, ahem, sinking feeling that it’s going to be bigger than ever before.

The 28th edition of the Dubai International Boat Show is right around the corner, and this year it’s being set up in an all-new destination – the Dubai Harbour.

Kicking off from Tuesday March 10 until Saturday March 14, this year’s boat show will be showcasing a heap of luxury superyachts. By that, we mean the show will have an overall superyacht value of Dhs2.6 billion.

What swanky boats can you expect? Highlights include the iconic Amadea, the biggest yacht ever to be displayed at Dubai Boat Show at a whopping 106 meters.

There’s also the Adastra, a futuristic trimaran boasting efficient long-range cruising, along with the new Pershing 8X making a Middle East premiere.

It isn’t just about those spectacular superyachts and boats though, as there will be a host of exhibitions, fun-filled activities, along with the world’s first-ever student competition for AI-powered sustainable yachts – all to refine the future of yachting.

Ever wanted to try your hand at sailing? The Dubai Offshore Sailing Club is letting visitors sail completely for free, teaching the ways of having a smooth sail.

Expect plenty a host of live performances from hip hop dancers and DJs, along with plenty of painting going with Urban Art DXB, featuring art from local and international street artists.

Tickets are priced from Dhs30, while those aged between 13 and 17 can get in for Dhs20. For more info and a better look at what’s to come, click here.
