Cinemas, fitness centres and entertainment centres can now open in Sharjah

Cinemas, auction houses, entertainment centres, valet services and fitness facilities can now open in Sharjah.

Under new guidelines Sharjah's Economic Development Department (SEDD) has said that cinemas, auction houses, entertainment centres, valet services and fitness facilities in the emirate can re-open with 50 percent capacity.

They must also follow all safety guidelines. These include temperature checks, limiting customers to 50 percent capacity and ensuring social distancing of two metres.

Saunas, spas, massage and more may not reopen, and distribution of newspapers and magazines is not allowed.

The news is part of the gradual reopening of facilities in the emirate, stay tuned to www.timeoutsharjah.com/news for the latest news.
