As any football fan will know, the Champions League final is one of the biggest fixtures in the sporting calendar.
This year, it could be extra special with Manchester City gunning for what would be a historic treble.
Already the Premier League champions, the Citizens take on local rivals Manchester United on Saturday June 3 in the FA Cup Final. If they win that, only Inter Milan stand in their way from completing the treble – amounting to winning the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League.
Only one English club has managed this before, Manchester United, so a win for the one-time “noisy neighbours” – as Sir Alex Ferguson once famously called City – would be truly historic.
But before we carry on with talk of Pep Guardiola’s men making history, there’s the small matter of a football match to play – against one of the best teams in Europe.
