Miss Tess launches postponed birthday freebie meals

If you’re celebrating your birthday in self-isolation as we all do our bit to help curb the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus, it’s time to make plans for the future.

Business Bay pan-Asian eatery Miss Tess will be spreading a bit of birthday cheer to those who aren’t able to celebrate out and about this year.

Found at the Taj Dubai, the funky restaurant has announced that anyone who has their birthday during this time of self-isolation will be able to get their hands on a free meal when it reopens.

Basically, all you’ve got to do is, when the restaurant reopens, call up and make a booking for dinner and state that it is for your birthday. Then, when you get there just show your ID to back up your claims, and you’ll get a free main course, drink, dessert and the whole singing and dancing performance of “Happy Birthday” when you least expect it.

Of course, we don’t know when restaurants will be reopening just yet, so keep an eye on the Miss Tess Instagram account for when it’s back in business, and the offer will be valid for a month thereafter.

Looking at making more future plans and save money while you’re at it? We have an excellent idea for you.

We’ve just launched Time Out Tabs, where you can now buy discounted gift vouchers to spend at ten independent restaurants in Dubai. You get extra value back in the long run, and you get to help out a local business during this difficult time. Check out all the restaurants, and find out how to buy your tab here
