Daily by Talabat grocery delivery goes 24-hours in Dubai

In light of the precautions being taken in the UAE due to COVID-19, it may be difficult to do that essential shop for groceries.

To make matters easier for Dubai residents, online delivery-only service Daily by Talabat has announced that it will now offer a 24-hour service.

Now available on the App Store and Google Play via the Talabat app, the service offers free deliveries along with groceries at hypermarket prices, and aims to deliver to customer’s homes within an hour.

Talabat also states that it makes sure delivery drivers are equipped with sanitisers, gloves and masks, which they will use during grocery pick-ups and drop-offs.

The delivery service currently offers a range of categories, including dairy products, bakery items, fruit and vegetables, water and personal care items.

“With many existing grocery delivery services being stretched with long lead times to deliver, we understand that having and through our 24-hour free-delivery capabilities, we are giving customers unlimited choice on when to order”, said UAE managing director Mohammed Yildirim.

‘We’re not here to make you wait days, or even half a day, however potentially somewhat longer than the usual 15 minutes, as we have increased our delivery radius to provide greater benefit for the residents and citizens of Dubai.”
