It’s official, Dubai. Summer is slowly making its return and it’s hot. But what better way to keep cool than with a homemade ice lolly?
If you’re looking for ways to keep the little ones busy, here’s a quick and simple recipe from Marks & Spencer for homemade ice lollies.
It’s also an easy way to sneak in some avocado to get the kids some extra fruit. Double win.
The recipe makes ten ice lollies and ice lolly moulds can be found online via Amazon and noon.
• 2 Peruvian Hass avocados
• 2 limes
• 397g condensed milk
• 200ml coconut milk
• Halve, pit and peel the Peruvian Hass avocados and juice the limes.
• Puree the avocados, lime juice, condensed milk and coconut milk in a blender for 30 seconds, until smooth.
• Pour the mixture into ice lolly moulds and freeze for at least 12 hours.
