UAE bank Liv. is giving away a private island

Ever wanted to sprawl out on your own private island? Well here's your chance.

Digital-only lifestyle bank Liv. by Emirates NBD is giving one lucky customer the mega prize, complete with its own array of coves and serene natural beaches.

The serene private island is approximately the size of five football fields and is connected to nearby fishing villages.

Customers who use their Liv. app and debit card, sign up for new products or update their details will earn Livion loyalty points – and the five with the highest number each month, along with 15 randomly chosen users, will be in with a chance of winning.

The 20 finalists will participate in a group competition to determine the ultimate winner and win ownership of a private island, in addition to a Dhs100,000 cash prize.

Users need a minimum of 100 Livion points to qualify for the island finalists’ draw with every 100 Livion points getting an additional entry.

In addition to the chance to win an island, Liv. customers can also use their Livion points to win instant gifts such as shopping and dining vouchers, passes to premium events and entertainment zones, beauty & fitness vouchers, and cash prizes via the app’s weekly Wheel of Fortune spins.

Liv. is the UAE’s first digital-only bank with a special focus on millennial customers, operated and managed by Emirates NBD Group.

If offers a first-of-its-kind banking-meets-lifestyle experience on a smartphone, including instant account opening with no paperwork and real-time access to insightful financial data and transaction history to empower customers to better manage their finances.

All the better, because you'll need to save up to kit out that wonderful private island.
