Abu Dhabi's airline Etihad is offering free flight date and destination changes

If you’ve booked a flight with Etihad Airways that you either need to postpone or change altogether then you’re in luck.

The airline has just announced that it is currently offering all travellers one free date or destination change.

That’s right, there will be no fees when changing any flights booked between March 8 and April 7 2020.

In a statement, the airline explained that the offer is valid for travel from 22nd March 2020, so any holidays booked with a departure after that date are eligible for a free rescheduling.

However, Etihad did state that any fare difference which may arise from the rebooking or rerouting will be applied.

The news comes just a day after the airline announced its exciting plans of a new direct flights between Abu Dhabi and Vienna. The new service will be scheduled with daily flights to the European city throughout the year, but will start by operating with four weekly flights between May 22 and June 30.

The route is a result of Etihad’s attempt to provide greater choice for business and leisure travellers.
