Journey to Japan, where modern meets ancient

Explore vibrant big city life mixed in with ancient culture in Japan

Travel, Rest of the world

From neon-lit skyscrapers to historic temples, Japan offers a huge array of experiences in one cultural melting pot of a country.

Plotting your own personal journey of discovery through a nation with so much to offer can be a daunting task, so now tourism bosses are offering a helping hand with a fantastic holiday package aimed at opening up the region to the Middle East.

Japan National Tourism Organisation (JPTO) has launched a new Journey to Japan package, available to book through Al Futtaim Holidays, hot on the heels of the introduction of a visa waiver programme allowing UAE nationals to gain visa-free entry to the Asian country for the first time.

The package includes a trip to Tokyo, taking in the buzzing nightlife, striking architecture and art and culture, before embarking on a one-way bullet train ride to the ancient city of Kyoto, famous for its classic temples and luxurious palaces and gardens, as well as taking in a tour of the magnificent Mount Fuji. The deal includes three nights’ accommodation with breakfast at both of Shinagawa Prince Hotels in Tokyo and Hotel Granvia Kyoto.
