DXB launches private sleeping pods

Make the most of delays in Terminal 3’s brand new “sleep ’n fly lounge”

If you’re anything like us, you probably dread getting to the airport late. You probably dread it so much that you’d rather turn up to DXB four hours before your flight than risk getting stuck in security as your gate closes.

Being on one of those silly-o’clock-in-the-morning flights doesn’t help either, and you can often feel like you’re sleepwalking on to the plane, especially if you’ve had an overnight transfer.

Well, thankfully, the clever folks over at DXB have opened up a brand-new sleep lounge, the first of its kind at the airport, featuring 27 pods and cabins in which you can grab a few minutes’ rest. Couple that with the world’s best airport wifi, and you are on to a winner.

The “sleep ’n fly lounge” is popping up near Gate A1 in Concourse A, and offers up 20 different state-of-the-art, private sleep pods, plus seven premium double cabins featuring pull-out children’s beds.

So whether you like getting to the airport obsessively early, or have an overnight wait for your connecting flight, this might be the perfect solution for you. You can reserve your space at www.sleep-n-fly.com, and members of Priority Pass and LoungeKey are welcome.
